Warm greetings to you all,

Trust you are all enjoying the glorious winter sun we are experiencing. There is a promise of coming spring in the air. There are parts of my garden that are beginning to receive the sun for a little more time each day, and are starting to respond. The plants, shrubs and flowers are lifting up their heads to greet  and drink in the warmth that it brings.

We too are we expectant and looking to the Father for the continued fulfillment of His Word and His promises for Touch the Hem as we look to Him  as the Author and Finisher of our lives.

We are delighted to share with you that we now have a counterpart to Touch the Hem for the ladies!

It has long been a deep desire and vision to see a ministry to and for the men being birthed and this last week we meet for the first time with some men who have been called to run with Our Father in Heaven. Our torch bearer for this is Charles Culbert.

We, as women will be coming alongside them to support, pray, and serve in various capacities.  Psalm 112 is a wonderful psalm to use when praying for the men and speaks about celebrating the holy God and also of the blessing of righteous men. Please pray with us as we seek to see

  • the men restored to their rightful position as priest and kings in the home.
  • There is an amazing promise of future generations that will be blessed as the men find healing and restoration from the Father.
  • Pray that they will seek the Lord and cultivate a fear of the Lord and by doing so find wisdom and great blessing.
  • Restoration of the Father's heart  -For a softening of heart and an openess to the healing that is needed in their lives. We are all broken and wounded. Returning of the prodigal son.

Our journey to Brakenhurst a few weeks ago was blessed as we had an opportunity to meet Hilary Nel and the team of wonderful ladies and some men who are preparing for their special day of prayer and healing on the 1st September. The 1st September is Spring Day.  We had a most unseasonable rain on the Saturday we met and sensed that this too, was a promised blessings from the Lord as we move into the various areas in the north, south, east and west of Gauteng.

The Word from Isaiah 54:1-8 was prayed over the team before we made our way home. These verses speak of peace, restoration and atonement as they seek to honor the Lord through the ministry. It also speaks of the women rising up and enlarging and extending their tent to accommodate those who respond the Lords invitation.
Please pray for Hilary Nel, Daryl-Anne and team - Brakenhurst - as they continue their preparation for the day. They are in need of

  • Healing for team members who are not well
  • Worship Team for the day. They are awaiting for confirmation of this.
  • Speakers - the right speakers as they seek to identify with the need of the community. There has been much loss in the community. Pray for comfort, healing  and consolation.
  • They are seeking the Lord's guidance for the overall facilitation of the day and are trusting and waiting upon Him for the way forward.

Meadowlands - Pray for Zanele,  Charlotte and team - meeting on Sunday

  • That more men would be released and respond to the call to serve and intercede on the day
  • For the right choice of speakers as they receive  and select the testimonies.

Gnube - Pray for Ria, Pat, Dale, Adele and Lynn and their team

  • The health and wellbeing of  team members. Some are not well and have been struggling with their health.
  • Some of the team members who are away ministering at Chrysalis at the moment

On the home front we ask that you would join us in prayer and petition for one of our founder team members Margie Drok who has been battling with cancer for a number of years. She is at the stage where she is in need of palliative care by the family and others. Her favorite verse, or life verse has always been from Psalm 119 "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path."  During this profound and sacred journey, and as she is surrounded by those who love her dearly, pray that this time of transition will be filled with the manifest presence, peace, strength, comfort, consolation, healing and provision of Lord for all.

Some of our team are praying, ministering and helping care for her ...pray for God's strength and leading. May their touch and gentle administration to Margie be as the ministry of Father, Son and Holy Spirit made manifest through them.

Thank You, Lord my Shalom,
That I can take Your hand
And walk with You
On the pathway of vibrant light
To the very throne of grace.

Thank You,  Jesus, that You take me to that place,
The place of resurrection lifethat has already been prepared
A place of complete healing
And thank You, Father, that You meet me there,
Spirit of the Living God,
Receive me,
Welcome me.............Unknown

  • Members of our team also need your prayers as they serve in other capacities, and have commitments outside of the fellowship and community of their church and congregation
  • Pray for God's protection, provision, guidance, refreshing and strength.

Our prayer for you today, is from Habakkuk 3:19 part of a hymn of faith and acknowledgment that He is our source of joy in all circumstances. As you lift up your heads with eyes of faith to the Lord may you be strengthened in your journey with Him.Thank you for journeying with us in prayer.

The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.

Richest blessings, love,  joy, peace and strength in the Lord always.
