Warm Greeting to you all,
We were blessed to celebrate our first day of prayer and healing of the year at Sunward Park Methodist Church, Boksburg, 28th February.
As we journey with precious women who step out and take hold of the vision as torch bearers for their communities, we stand in awe of the Lord as He simply takes willing hearts and hands and begins to fashion and shape the day to meet the particular need of those who attend Touch the Hem of His Garment.
We thank Yvonne and her wonderful team of both men and women for their faithful commitment and for being an integral part of ushering in the presence of the Lord.
We also thank the clergy at Sunward Park for opening up their church to facilitate this very special day.
The worship team blessed us as they led us into the presence of the Lord.
It is a joy to see familiar faces as we gather together. Healing is often a journey that we find ourselves on.
The testimony of a woman who had received a “heart transplant” at one of our previous gatherings and had returned for further healing brought great joy and encouraged us all. What an awesome God we serve! The work He begins in us continues as we open ourselves to His gentle healing touch.
The early prayer meeting prepared us with a message coming through of His deep love for us as His daughters and His desire for us to be one with Him and with one another.
The day was a truly anointed one that had God’s seal and stamp of approval. As the praise and worship began, the meditations and testimonies shared, the Holy Spirit took each one to another level of revelation and understanding that we all have a story to tell. There was a call for each woman to “Go! Tell their story of Jesus and His love and healing”
Indeed we learn to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and word of our testimony.
As always, the testimonies of the women who shared their stories of triumph and victory over heartache and tears touched our hearts and elicited a heartfelt response from us all.
A line was drawn in the sand and a declaration of “No more” and “Freedom” came as we moved through the day. Indeed we are not victims of our circumstances but a part of His Body, His Church. The Bride of Christ and we will prevail against the forces of darkness that seek to come against us.
There was a release of a fresh anointing of being a fragrance to those around us.
(No stale perfume for us ladies!)
2 Corinthians 2:14-15 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
