Warm Greetings,

At the time of writing this praise report it is just a week today since we celebrated our Touch the Hem day of prayer and healing at Northfield Methodist, Benoni.

As always we set off with a sense of excitement and anticipation as to what the Lord would do in our midst.  Much preparation had been made in order to make ready for the very special day for the ladies who would be attending.

We give thanks and praise for a faithful, committed and humble team from Northfield. We believe that the Lord would be saying “Well done, good and faithful servants”.  It was an incredible privilege to walk with and come alongside each team member and take this journey together with you all.  THANK YOU!

We were truly blessed to have the team of ladies from Secunda join us in order to have first hand experience of the day.  We trust and pray that you were blessed and are motivated and inspired for your day. We look forward to journeying with you. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you journey with Him and one another.

The day began with a dance by the Mohau dancers….the dance and the music was set to Our Father Who Art in Heaven.   A visual prayer that ushered in the Presence , blessing and favor of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit was welcomed into the sanctuary and His sweet, gentle presence continued to minister to all throughout the day. The Sun of Righteousness came with healing on His wings and the Balm of Gilead was poured forth in abundance. Jesus, Christ the Healer turned His attention to all those who expressed a need…and the need was lovingly, graciously, tenderly and compassionately met…….. THANK YOU JESUS!

Holy Spirit from above,

Tender, undefiled Dove,

In my spirit have Thy way;

O’er my actions hold full sway.

(excerpt from Tender Dove…..by F.J. Roberts)

As the morning progressed, with sharing of the testimonies, the meditations, and opportunities given to respond accordingly; we were brought to a realization that we, as women, so often share a common story… in the sharing there is always a testimony we have of Jesus, Healer, The Lover of our soul, Our Redeemer, Saviour and Friend and so much more!

The worship team ushered us into His presence and we were blessed with a song by a songwriter who shared the song placed upon her heart for the first time.

Once again these precious gifts were opened, shared and embraced as His precious daughters willing gave of themselves by serving and using the gifts and anointing the Lord has graced and blessed them with.

The men, as always were a pillar of strength throughout the day and the days leading up to Saturday.  Praise God for prayerful men within the body of Christ!

Their love and faithfulness to the task touched our hearts.  May love and faithfulness never leave you; and may you win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man/women. (Prov.3:3-4)

We thank the communities that send through the Word, messages of love, affirmation and encouragement that were confirmed in many ways during the course of the day.

Some Word that came through on the day:

The challenge came to Rise up! Rise up! and later on the ladies shouted “Freedom!” Yes, Lord, You bring us out of the darkness into Your glorious light.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know that plans that I have for you, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Ephesians 1:11 In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.  Also reminded of the words Joseph spoke to his brothers after such betrayal ..” What you meant for evil, God turned around for good.”

Psalm 139:14 You are His precious child for you are fearfully and wonderfully made; the works of the Lord are marvelous…..know that you were formed by God’s hands.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you will joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Spirit.

A picture was given during prayer of a Bride arriving at the Church to meet her Bridegroom..

She was eager, she was expectant, she was full of hope and anticipation for the future that lay before her..

She ran down the isle, unhampered by the dress that she wore…. As she reached the Bridegroom He turned and lifted the veil …… face to face, heart to heart, hand in hand …

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

v. 16 when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away…Now the Lord is Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The question came…Will you surrender to my love …Will you surrender all that you are, All that you do, all that you hope to be to My love that conquers all…… All fears, all failings, even your faithlessness and unbelief?

With God’s grace may we all respond….

I SURRENDER ALL, I SURRENDER ALL …ALL TO THEE MY BLESSED SAVIOR I SURRENDER ALL TO YOUR LOVE.

As always we thank you and value your prayer support. Our prayer for you is from Psalm 73:26 May God be the strength of your heart and your portion forever.

Our next Touch the Hem is Saturday June 7th just 2 weeks away at Bryanston Methodist Church. If you live in the vicinity or willing to travel we would love to have you join us.
